Violet. Scene more upsetting the second time. • Xaden tells violet something(forge luminary) is near Athbyne and violet thanks him for his honesty Chapter 29: • Vi figures out Cat before Xaden tells her but he didn't have a chance. • Tairn builds up her confidence 🖤 • They talk about the Viscount Tercarus deal, she thinking about how much she loves him, he gives her a dagger • They arrive at basgiath, tairn shares Andarna is still sleeping, violet says she will update him of her punishment • Varrish and hench men find her almost to her room, Professor Kaori defends her, Rhiannon removes the dagger • She shares the truth with Rhiannon. Chapter 30: • Tells her friends everything except for secrets that aren't hers to tell. • Realizing that nevarre is burning the evidence. • Ridoc knew about the journals in a sublevel vault. • Barlowe is a changed man now, adored by many, they watch threshing for 1st yrs, sloane has a red dragon like Liam. • I think Ridoc visits jesinia, Violet has watch duty, assassin's attack, i don't think these ones were venin, she is nearly taken out until a knife goes through his spine. Chapter 31: • Brennan book says most riders die from gravity. • Jack Barlowe saved her, Ridoc finds her, Jesinia found the vault, need king Tauri's bloodline. Chapter 32: • Xaden gets updates since they last met, and the raid plan • The gang brought Aaric, Xaden killed Alic the brother who attacked garrick on threshing and that was when Sgaeyl bonded him per the letter in ch 12. • Begin heist, xaden doesn't camouflage lol, Xaden's is so cool, jesinia badass getting them to the vault. Chapter 33: • Knock out two guards, Aaric pulls violet through the wards. • 2mins left and they got the books, blistered hand, they run. • Such a great chapter Chapter 34: • Excerpt: letter from Xaden to vi about his last conversation with his dad was an argument • They all escaped • They scatter, treat the hand, quinn can astral project as others to give an alibi, her signet is strong because her great aunt was bonded to her dragon. • They make-out in the courtyard, xaden takes Warwick's journal, strodes away like he owns it • Nolon offers her a drink, Jack gives Violet a nod, Violet drugged :(, varrish arrives Chapter 35: • Excerpt: the only thing worse than an inntinnsic is a truth sayer • Nolon asks for answers, how, who and why she did it. • Truth sayer knows if she's lying not makes her tell the truth, I would lose this game. • Liam shows up, sent by malek, do you think she talking out loud to him :( • Dain arrives, 5 days later • Dain asks for the weapon and kills Varrish. • Xaden arrives post 💀 spree. Chapter 36: • Xaden shadows loose composure seeing her • Bad ass xaden moment having her take out Varrish... he assists her 😭 • She blames herself, he said he would watch Aretia burn off it means she lives, and finally says he loves her. • She says "i do love you" "glad you didn't forget" lol • "When you're a mother, talk to me" • Tyrrish custom for his scars, Vi reflects on Xadens actions as his deal with lilith, xaden's love foundation crumbling from the news of the deal. • Sorrengail's walk or fly off the flight field, no hug good bye. • Leaving means dragons need to take their hatchlings. • Solas didn't die, andarna still sleeping • Heaton?! Protects dain • Brennan hugs her, overwhelmed by the increase of people and dragons.

Chapter 24: • Dain's a little b**** • Gasp, Varrish is testing a theory. • Testing if xaden will show up, to understand their bond or the effect of the elixir? • Dain not as much of a little b****.... for now. • Nolon follows orders and helps-ish them escape. • Varrish and Nolon talk about Barlowe. • They escape, the boys have huge egos lol Chapter 25: • Excerpt: Zolya cliffsbane academy • They get a patch, lost cadets, asks bodhi why sgaeyl was very angry last night • Zolya defeated notice from two days ago on all of their chairs. • Markum calls it propaganda, grabs papers and changes the story from blue fire dragons to blue dragons • Barlowe Chapter 26: • Menders are not healers, follow different rules • Start class like this is normal, discuss outpost attacks, Devera implies xaden was injured. • This chapter gave me extreme anxiety the first time, tairn overpowering. Chapter 27 • Samara to basgiath is an 8hr flight. • She realizes she is controlled by tairn, Mira finds her, she finds xaden, gives her a cold shower. • Xaden jelly of Bodhi's flight jacket. 😂 • Ope, this is the shower scene • "It's no longer up to you to punish me, I'm no longer in your chain of command" • "You were worried about me?" He says it 3 times, he feels loved 🥺 • No way Mira didn't realize violet and xaden are banging

Rhiannon snaps 🥺 • Violets feelings are valid and to not be ready to talk about liam • Violet searched by Varrish in front of Rhi. Chapter 20: • Excerpt: after his dad died he forgot what it was like to be loved until Violet, going to do anything to get that back • Running landing, tairn is upset. • Violet's turn to visit Xaden and holding the contraband lol. • Xaden mentally asks if she wants to kiss him for show, he walks up, full make out....for show of course, didn't Xaden get a boner.... for show?, 2nd kiss, Mira got the point. • Sister time, withholding Brennan being alive, Mira doesn't trust Xaden, Vi quietly agrees. • Ward stone is the stem, wards like an umbrella, ward woven to the ground at the outposts. The alloy that extend the wards, unknown alloy material. (Fantasy metal blend and eggs) • Violet says that she thinks it's wyvern destroying poromish towns, Mira thinks she's crazy. • The outpost kills civilians. 🤨 • Violet apologizes for keeping ward research secret, xaden says it makes sense but I think xaden just said he won't keep secrets that will affect how she makes decisions and asks for the same. • Ends with them talking about her blocking him out, neither can fully do it to each other, and cuddling to sleep. "You love me, stop reminding me, maybe you're not the one who needs reminding". Chapter 21: • Excerpt: forming nevarre stripped locations of their cultures. • Devera fills in for the history class and she discusses the cultural loses. • Lost folklore, languages, books, history, travel. • Ridoc knows oral folklore violet doesn't, he jokes that's impossible. • Nevarre only gave families 1 year to move for protection and unification. • Awkward moment with Dain, dain vs vi sparring, not a sexy one • Dain doesn't acknowledge he stole her memory, tells her about his scars 😬 • Rhiannon realizes there is a hit on those who went to Athbyne for seeing something and asks what killed Deigh, no answer. • Auric tells violet he knows about venin. Chapter 22: • Violet nightmare - future?, he wants her power. • Xaden takes her to the basgiath forge, "thank you for trusting me" • First 6 carved the first ward stone, plans for finding the book. • Violet talks to Sgaeyl about Xaden backing down to Varrish. • Violet taken for interrogation with grady and varrish and xaden returns her book.
