    The Yuba County Five were a group of young men from Yuba County, California in the United States, each with mild intellectual disabilities or psychiatric conditions. The boys were reported missing after attending a college basketball game at CSU, Chico (also known as Chico State), on the night of February 24, 1978.


    That night would lead to a large-scale search for the young men that would take months before there was a breakthrough.


    Eventually some of the boys were located and that would lead to far more questions than answers.

  • The Push - Fawziyah Javed

    The story of Fawziyah Javed is a devastating one, a bright and fun loving soon to be mother who's life would be tragically cut short.


    During her marriage, Fawziyah became pregnant which ultimately caused her to decide to leave her husband Kashif Anwar to live with her parents to raise her child in a safe environment. Her evidence for divorce proceedings against Anwar included recordings in which Fawziyah accused her husband of ruining her life.


    In September 2021, Fawaizyah agree to travel with Kashif to Edinburgh, despite her parents' concerns. CCTV footage revealed that the couple had lunch together at St Andrew's Square, before walking to Arthur's Seat.


    During the descent from Arthur's seat, She would fall 50 feet, sustaining a head injury which caused her death. The question is, did she fall like her husband told police or did he push her?

    In June 1978, Bob Crane, the star of the sixties sitcom Hogan's Heroes but now reduced to playing on the dinner-theater circuit, was found bludgeoned to death in Scottsdale, Arizona, where he was appearing in a run of Beginner's Luck.


    Bob was found by a co-star who had reportedly organised a lunch date with him, after discovering his lifeless body she runs out of the apartment for for help and so began a thirty year search for answers.

  • The most famous missing person on YouTube - Lars Mittank
    May 19 2024

    Lars Joachim Mittank is a German man who disappeared on 8 July 2014, near Varna Airport in Varna, Bulgaria. Mittank was vacationing at the Golden Sands resort, where he was supposedly involved in a fight, and was subsequently unable to fly home with his friends for health reasons.


    Mittank was documented acting strangely while alone in Bulgaria. He called home to his mother claiming that people were trying to kill him. On the day when he was supposed to fly home, Mittank went to the Varna Airport to consult with a doctor.


    He was later seen on airport security footage running out of the airport and towards an adjacent forest. He has never been seen since. The case has generated intense interest, and the frequency with which people viewed the footage of him fleeing the airport has led to him being named, the most famous missing person on YouTube.

  • The Lake Bodom murders

    The Lake Bodom murders is one of the most infamous unsolved homicide cases in Finnish criminal history.


    On 5 June 1960, at Lake Bodom in Espoo, Uusimaa, Maila Björklund and Anja Mäki (both 15) and Seppo Boisman (18) were killed by stabbing and blunt-force trauma to their heads while sleeping inside a tent.


    The fourth, Nils Gustafsson, then aged 18, was found outside the tent with broken facial bones and stab wounds. Despite extensive investigations, the perpetrator was never identified and various theories on the killer's identity have been presented over the years.


    A suspect would be arrested however in 2004 and be tired for the killings.
