Conservative Conversations #5 - Conservative Paradigms

  • Summary

  • Hello, ladies and gentlemen, thank you for your continued support and interest in the podcast. It has grown fairly quickly in just the short time we've been on the radio waves. This episode goes into what a paradigm is to a political theory, and how conservatives lack paradigmatic themes in their everyday lives, including politics. The battleground of ideas rest, comfortably, in the psychological, theological, and philosophical realms. Therefore, linguistic discipline, and basic comprehension skills will go a very long way.

Jake and I dive deep into such topics like the Barbary wars, American history, conservative tradition, values, and paradigmatic themes compared to our liberal counterparts. We start with the clash between Texas and the Biden administration over Shelby Park, and slowly work our way into what a nation is, what it should be, and what national loyalty looks and sounds like. The competitive nature about nations, and how it’s nested in a larger understanding of heritage, shared language, tradition, culture, religion and law.
