    Deeply rooted in a life of spiritual practice for more than four decades, MacDonald has not lost the common touch and the ability to communicate in the colloquial and the most direct and vulgar of ways.

    Deeply literate and classically read, MacDonald has published adult literary fiction in Canada to excellent reviews and has had work optioned for film. It wasn’t until he moved to Costa Rica that he started to write nonfiction and more specifically co-writes with unique and interesting people who had stories to tell that were so unbelievable that they would never get told unless they encountered someone like MacDonald.
