Welcome to Boys on the Bench, the sports podcast where we share our passion for all things sports and our journey to get here. Our story began over a decade ago when we met in high school and quickly bonded over our love for sports. Even after we went our separate ways for college, we continued to stay in touch and talk about everything happening in the sports world. We always knew we wanted to do something together but weren't quite sure how to make it happen.

Years later, we finally decided to start a sports podcast, even though we were living in different locations. At first, we were unsure about where to begin, but we knew we wanted to create a platform to share our thoughts, ideas, and experiences with other sports enthusiasts. After countless late-night brainstorming sessions, we developed the concept for our sports podcast, and "Boys on the Bench" was born.

As a nod to our shared history of not really amounting to much athletically after our high school years, we named our podcast "Boys on the Bench". Although our abilities on the field never led us to success, our abilities of “Riding the Pine” off the field has allowed us to build a passionate audience of degenerate sports junkies.
