  • Bonnie & Clyde - The Original Natural Born Killers
    Sep 18 2024
In 1932-33 there was a small time criminal gang known as the Barrow gang, active in the surrounding area of Dallas. The gang were known and wanted for various crimes locally but worldwide notoriety was just around the corner for two members of the gang. In April 1933 police officers raided a house in Joplin, Missouri planning to bust bootleggers. However it wasn’t and was in fact the current hideout of the Barrow gang. The gang members fled so quickly that they had to leave behind all of their possessions including a camera full of undeveloped film. When that film was developed the photos were so explosive that a legend was born, the legend of Bonnie and Clyde.

    Apr 13 2024

Join Caz and Loz for this Series Finale of Bloody Britain and are we going out on a big case, the case of Dennis 'Des' Nilsen.

For 4 years from 1979 Des killed up to 15 or 16 young men and boys and was eventually only stopped when he blocked up the drains in his flat by attempting to dispose of human remains down his toilet.

As the police investigated the crimes they discovered he had been getting away with murder for years and had killed so many people that he couldn't even remember the precise amount. Dennis had very rare kink in his sexuality, he was a necrophiliac, and was only sexually aroused by the dead.

Des was convicted of several murders and spent the rest of his life in prison.

We hope you have enjoyed this series of crimes that took place in the UK and we will be back for Series 7 soon.

  • S6 Ep. 11 Stars Behind Bars
    Mar 31 2024

Hey y'all, welcome and join us, Cazza and Lozza as we take a look at when celebs screw up.

This week we are taking a light hearted look at the times some of the worlds biggest stars have ended up doing community service for misdemeanours. For instance, we look at the time when George Michael's Range Rover ploughed into a Snappy Snaps photo shop and the infamous events in the Hollywood hills, when Hugh Grant was arrested for getting a bit frisky in his car with a sex worker.

And who can forget the fashion show put on by Naomi Campbell at her designated community service destination - the New York City refuse department.

  • S6 Ep. 10 Rachel Manning - Miscarriage of Justice
    Mar 17 2024

Welcome to this week's episode, the case of the murder of Rachel Manning and the miscarriage of justice that followed.

On a cold December evening in the year 2000 a young couple, Rachel and Barri had been to Barri's mum's 40th birthday party and then went out clubbing in town, after.

In traditional style the evening ended with a kebab and a punch up before they went their separate ways home. Within an hour Barri received a phone call from Rachel, asking him for a lift as she was lost and was having difficulty getting a cab. Little did Barri know that this was the last time he would ever hear Rachel's voice, as shortly after she was abducted and murdered in a random attack, her body being found two days later.

This was the beginning of a living nightmare for Barri and his friend Keith, who very shortly after would find themselves prime suspects for the brutal crime.

Horrifyingly the pair were convicted and sent to prison for a crime they didn't commit on very little evidence.

In despair Keith wrote to everyone he could think of for help, including the BBC program, Rough Justice.

The team took on the case and after many years they finally managed to get the conviction overturned and the men walked free as innocent men. But if they hadn't killed Rachel then who had?

Listen this week as Loz and Caz reveal the astonishing details behind this miscarriage of justice case.

  • S6 Ep. 9 - John Cooper - The Bullseye Killer
    Mar 3 2024

Back in the 1980's Sunday night telly was dominated by the darts gameshow, Bullseye where contestants would play darts and answer questions in an attempt to win cash prizes and the jackpot prize of a speedboat or a car. In May 1989 a contestant from Pembrokeshire, Wales called John Cooper appeared, talking about his hobby of scuba diving around the gorgeous coastline. Sporting a truly incredible mullet, John and his team mate walked away empty handed that day, returning to their normal lives having experienced their 15 minutes of fame.

The idyllic area of Pembrokeshire hid the fact that there had been a number of shocking and brutal crimes over the years including murder, robbery and rape.

As the years went by a cold case team resurrected the unsolved cases and in 2006 began Operation Ottowa, determined to find the person responsible for two double murders.

Thanks to advances in forensic technology and fastidious police work the net began to close around John Cooper. However the final piece of the jigsaw came when producers of Bullseye came forward with footage of Cooper and how he would have looked the day of the murders according to an eyewitness.

Join your girls this week for a brilliant case that grew in infamy when it was made into the mini series The Pembrokeshire Murders.
