    Welcome to Season 4 of Black Couch Conversations! We’re kicking off this season with a toast to both our new beginnings and to the icons we’ve lost: Tony Todd (the original Candyman, Tales from the Hood) and the legendary Quincy Jones (music mogul extraordinaire). Their legacies continue to inspire us.

    In light of recent events, we’re diving into a topic that’s been on everyone’s mind: the election of the 47th President of the United States. While the outcome may not have been what many expected, it’s important to discuss how this election might impact our communities—particularly the middle- and lower-classes, as well as the LGBTQIA+ community.

    We want to hear from you! Share your thoughts with us in the comments: What are your feelings about the election results, the newly elected president, and the potential effects on underrepresented communities?
