    Bill Myers Inspires This show explores racism which is enmeshed in the church, and how deep and instantiated the centering of "whiteness' is in the formation of and the evolution of the church. We will take a look at the ways racism manifests itself, how it alters our perceptions and what it means for those of us who are in the church, but also are advocates for racial equality and justice. The Rev. Dr. John C. Dorhauer, author and theologian, currently serves as ninth General Minister and President of the United Church of Christ. John began his ministry serving First Congregational United Church of Christ and Zion United Church of Christ in rural Missouri. He then served as Associate Conference Minister in the Missouri Mid-South Conference, and then Conference Minister of the Southwest Conference of the UCC prior to his election as General Minister and President. Dorhauer received a B.A. in Philosophy from Cardinal Glennon College (1983), and has a Master of Divinity degree from Eden Theological Seminary (1988), the same year John was ordained in the United Church of Christ.     Bill Myers Inspires Where were you on September 11th? As we approach the twenty-year anniversary of this tragic event in America, let us take a moment to explore its lessons and how September 11th has changed us. Art Shrian Tiwari is a director-writer-actor-filmmaker, who loves storytelling. Born and raised in India, now he calls NY/NJ is home. He quit his successful corporate career, to follow his passion and build a new career in the entertainment industry. He has worked in several short films and TV shows as an actor and starred as the lead in the beloved indie feature film Werewolf Ninja Philosopher, which had a theatrical release both in NYC and Chicago. As a screenwriter, his first feature-length screenplay with co-writer Lapacazo Sandoval got optioned recently, and the project is in the early stages of pre-production. He's now working on his second feature-length screenplay soon to be optioned. As a director, he recently directed his first screen project 'Red Is My Color', that's in post-production. He's currently working on creating 3 TV shows and a few films, with various creative partners. He also runs the digital magazine MyNewYorkEye and the podcast ArtApproved! After a 5 years break from the corporate world, he's back working in the IT/Business consulting as an IT Executive. He's also a full time Dad, the job he loves the most.
