  • In a humanistic world where narcissism thrives repentance isn't very popular. Pop psychology motivational sermons are teaching Christians to better themselves, without bringing them into a closer relationship with God. Addressing sinfulness and repenting from sin are being put on the back burner of Christianity because it's not good for church growth in seeker-friendly circles. However, without repentance we cannot enter into God's grace and Kingdom. Repentance of sins is the first step into living a life of faith in God. God desires to fellowship with and dwell in man. That's why every prophet and evangelist He has sent calls people to turn to God and away from their sins. Sin is what separates you from God almighty. Sin causes you to miss the purpose God has for your life. Anyone can sin, and therefore anyone needs repentance. Read About The Great Reset Vs The Kingdom of God. There was a time when God winked at sin, in his mercy He overlooked them. But now that time is long past. look at this Scripture: "The times of this ignorance God overlooked, but now He commandeth all men everywhere to repent, because He hath appointed a Day in which He will judge the world in righteousness by that Man whom He hath ordained. Of this He hath given assurance unto all men, in that He hath raised Him from the dead" (Acts 17:30-31). Repentance Brings Blessings Because God loves you and the world so much, he wants you to understand what things grieve Him and separate you from His presence. Repentance is the key that brings great blessings into your life. In this podcast I want to challenge you with the benefits of repentance.
