There's an age-old saying that goes, "The truth shall set you free". But this freedom comes at a price: a brutal honesty that tolerates the pain of facing the past. Running away from the past could only go so far, for it is the law of the psyche that sooner or later, the past will catch up with us. For Janice, this catching up of the ghosts of the past came in the form of discovering her husband's affair. But we are not helpless when Fate comes to collect her debt. For Janice, she and her husband chose to face their demons, consciously, through the process of couples therapy. Through that process, they were able to shed their pretensions that enabled them to show up to each other in the truth of their nakedness. And so they became free.
