Another lovely book written by Julia Donaldson and illustrated by Sara Ogilvie! I promise we dont only own books by Julia Donaldson haha, for some reason Tia seems to pick them for our next read.

This is definitely a book worth buying, especially if you like the sounds of the story, the illustration is rich and beautiful and definitely worth having it on your children's book shelf ready for bedtime.

This is the charming story of Dot the dalmatian, a very special dog indeed. Instead of the normal visits to the park, Dot accompanies her lovely owner Rose to the hospital to soothe and entertain the children, babies, parents, doctors and nurses who are there.

Tia and Rhys read another Let's Read book! This time it's Wendles Workshop. Wendel is far too busy inventing things to keep his workshop tidy. So if one of his inventions doesn't work, Wendel just tosses it onto the scrap heap and starts over. Then one day he invents the magnificent Wendelbot—a mighty robot that cleans and cleans and doesn't stop.

This is one of those books that doesn't look (to me) as great as it actually is, the story is fun and entertaining and allows your little ones to engage with sound effects (which Tia definitely does) and allows them to be asking lots of questions, which is always good - unless its like 9pm and its past their bedtime and you're trying to get them off to sleep for like the third time...talking from experience am I? Never.
