  • Renewment | A Conversation with Helen Dennis
    Aug 15 2024
Join us as we discuss “Renewment” with Helen Dennis, co-founder of Project Renewment, a best-selling author, columnist, lecturer on aging and retirement. Renewment is a made-up word; a combination of retirement and renewal. Established in 1999, Renewment is a movement of mid- to later-life career women, who are using their drive, energy and talent used in the workplace to create their next life chapters to be equal to or more fulfilling than the previous ones. The women typically meet monthly for a structured conversation, on topics such as “Who am I Without my Business Card?” and “What is Productivity Anyhow?” As women belong to the same group for anywhere from 2 to 20 years, Renewment has moved beyond the transition from work to retirement. It now supports career women through transition and change for a lifetime. The pandemic has prevented women from meeting face to face. As a result, we have launched virtual Renewment roundtables which are growing virally with waiting lists. See the LA Times best seller: Project Renewment: The First Retirement Model for Career Women and Renewment.org.
