• 003. Defense Threat Reduction Agency
    Mar 15 2024

Welcome to episode 3 of Arrow Points. Today's topic is some military news about a relatively unknown organization called, the Defense Threat Reduction Agency. To begin, Jeff reveals how he came across the agency he'd never heard about in over 20 years of service with the military at various levels, including his time at Headquarters US Space Force (USSF), and in his various joint assignments and professional studies.

Next, Jeff talks about how the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) was founded within the Department of Defense (DoD), its military history, and how its history dates all the way back to the 1940s and the Manhattan Project. Flash forward to today, and the DTRA is a shred of the former Defense Nuclear Agency, and many agencies of the 70's, 80's, and 90's.

Lastly, Jeff reveals some truths about the DTRA that not only tie them into recent global events, but make him question the unusual timing of their participation in the COVID-19 Pandemic...but also explain why the US Military was so quick to involve themselves in a pandemic more suited for agencies like FEMA and the CDC.

    Why?

Because, the DTRA formed a special program in 2019 called the Discovery of Medical Countermeasures Against Novel Entities (DOMANE) just months before the pandemic went full tilt in 2020. Jeff also talks about Project Maximus, an interesting subject that will be covered in a later episode.

  • 002. Breaking Down Technology Addiction
    Mar 1 2024

Welcome to episode 2 of Arrow Points. Today's topic is technology dependency. To begin, Jeff breaks down the psychology behind technology dependency by referencing several articles and doctor testimonials, then shifts to alarming statistics about social media and social media usage.

He also discusses human interaction, and questions if we as a society have misplaced the human connection element with technology and social media. Everything from Facebook to Amazon is on the table in this discussion.

Lastly, Jeff breaks down social media usage across the globe, and how the newest generation of people are not just addicted, but feel obligated to use their mobile devices to the point that it has become an extension of them. The results have caused everything from PTSD to anxiety, to other psychological disorders and increased symptoms of other disorders because of the constant need to have a mobile device, cell phone, or social media easily available.

What do you think? Do we have a tech dependency problem? Is this addiction an epidemic?

  • 001. Your Rights Are Under Attack (Again)
    Feb 19 2024
Welcome to the initial episode of Arrow Points. Today we will be discussing Senate Bill 3589, also known as the Preventing Private Paramilitary Training Act of 2024. The discussion begins with an exploration of concerns regarding potential infringements upon individual rights posed by Senate Bill 3589, and we further explain the provisions of the bill that impose bans on "private paramilitary training activities" such as survival training, including firearms training, first aid, and other broadly defined survival/readiness training. The conversation shifts to the restrictions outlined in the bill regarding the performance of paramilitary training and performance in public places, as well as the politically driven reasons behind these ridiculous restrictions.
