Episode 13 Guest - Corey Allmond

Originally from Oxon Hill, Maryland, Corey Allmond has played some big games in his career, but perhaps none bigger than on November 19, 2009 when Corey scored 37 points in a road game against AP No. 4 Kentucky at Rupp Arena.

He shot 11-of-16 from beyond the arc, the most three-pointers ever made at the arena and the most by a Southland or Sam Houston State player.

Of the performance that day, Corey said, "I knew I was going to get a lot of open looks because of the fast pace they play."

He's played in the NBA D-League/G-League, Internationally, including in China and in North America in the ABA and The NBLC.

The 4 time pro league champion was on looking to capture number 5 before Covid19 shut down the sports world, including the NBLC.

Corey is here to talk basketball, home quarantine cooking and his plans beyond basketball

Episode 11: Guest - Carl English

From shooting hoops on the side of the highway in rural Newfoundland, to going head to head with Kobe Bryant; Carl English has written quite a story.

He experienced the tragedy of losing his parents at a young age and the triumph of a 20 year basketball career, as well as being a husband and father.

Carl played NCAA D1 at the University of Hawaii for the Rainbow Warriors and traveled the World playing professionally in Countries like Croatia, Italy and Spain,

He was also Captain Canada for several years as part of a Canadian National Team that helped lay the groundwork for much of the success basketball in Canada currently enjoys.

Carl believes one of the biggest lessons in life is being able to get back up and move forward, no matter how hard or how many times you get knocked down.

That fighting spirit has guided Carl his entire life.
