• Worms
    Jan 20 2025

Worms is a classic Team17 turn-based strategy game, where you and a team of worms must wriggle for position and prove who has the biggest arsenal, and yes, I'm including flying sheep and bazookas that even Rambo would be proud of!

The iconic game featured on every platform under the sun and incredibly started life in a teenager's bedroom. A chance opportunity then changed the gaming landscape forever!

Hear all about the game and its development and also how the game made Adrian's work experience so memorable...

This podcast episode is dedicated to Martyn Brown who sadly passed away just after this episode was recorded. Martyn was the co-founder of Team17 and a true gentleman.

Our eighth Christmas in fact! Enjoy our early Christmas present to you our lovely listeners.

In addition to our usual "secret" Santa, the boys dig real deep to talk about anything Christmas-related and finally settle on choosing some favourite Christmas movies that could/should be made into games. Everyone except Dylan as (yet again) he's forgotten to do his homework and styles it out in the only way he knows how...

Movie Description: It’s an 80s hacker movie, set in the modern day - and in an age of 24-hour connectivity - it’s a love letter to an era when computing and gaming were a lot simpler. More importantly, at it’s emotional core, ‘Ctrl AI Delete’ is about how a group of very ordinary friends dig deep and find a courage and resourcefullness they never knew they had, in order to fight against a global disaster.
