  • The Nail Doesn't Hurt Enough
    Feb 9 2023

There was a young man walking down the street and happened to see a old man sitting on his porch. Next to the old man was his dog, who was whining and whimpering. The young man asked the old man “What’s wrong with your dog” The old man said “He’s laying on a nail”. The young man asked “Laying on a nail?, Well why doesn’t he get up?” The old man then replied “It’s not hurting bad enough.” - Les Brown

Change is hard, but it will never happen unless the cons of your current behaviour outweigh the pros.

  • Intro
    Feb 1 2023

Welcome to Analyze Bliss. Myles and Alison Chisholm are registered psychotherapists living in Ontario, Canada. The intent of this show is threefold:

    1. To discuss musings in the field of mental well-being, parenthood, and relationships. We will share tools, insights, and themes we have encountered, practiced, and are continuing to understand with our clients, with ourselves, and with others we care deeply about.
    2. We will interview our peers, our role models and friends we have gained wisdom from in order for them to share their insights into what it means to live a wholesome and fulfilling life.
    3. This project is a journey. Alison and I are continuing to grow as therapists, as partners, and as parents. So much of our mental development comes from the unpacking of ideas in order to understand them better. We invite you to join us as we aim to grow as therapists, as friends, and as parents.
