Pitching legend John Smoltz played 22 MLB seasons, 21 with the Atlanta Braves. He was a 1995 World Series champion and the 1996 Cy Young Award winner. In 2001, after Tommy John surgery, he became a reliever for four years. Smoltz is only the 2nd pitcher in history to have a 20 win season and a 50 saves season.
