  • Kentucky Basketball Season Recap
    Apr 3 2023
Welcome in to the All Out Kentucky Podcast your home for the Kentucky Wildcats basketball and football program. I am your host AJ Bradley and I am joined as always by my brother and co-host Sam Bradley. For today’s episode we will recap the Wildcats season as a whole and give our thoughts on this year’s team. When the season began, Kentucky was a favorite to get to Houston for the Final 4 as the defending NPOTY & a balanced roster of upperclassmen + freshmen looked to be one of the best teams in college basketball. Throughout the next 5 months, UK took their fair share of bumps and bruises but ultimately looked primed to make a tournament run. After a round 1 win over the Providence Friars that run seemed more possible than at any point during the season. Unfortunately, Kansas State ended that dream and the season was over as quick as it started. • March Madness Round of 32: Kentucky vs Kansas State
    Mar 18 2023

Welcome in to the All Out Kentucky Podcast, your home for the Kentucky Wildcats basketball and football program. I am your host AJ Bradley and I am joined as always by my brother and co host Sam Bradley. Okay Big Blue Nation, every body take a deep breath and exhale. We got the monkey off our back - now we return to our scheduled programming. It indeed was the Kentucky Wildcats who come out on the right end of a hard fought battle with the Providence Friars on Friday evening. Final score is 61-53 as the Cats cover as a 4.5 point favorites

UK put on a clinic when it comes to rebounding as they haul in 46 boards in this one. 16 offensive rebounds and 30 defensive rebounds. Providence had 27 rebounds as a team while Oscar Tshiebwe had 25 himself. Truly, one of the most dominating rebounding performances in NCAA Tournament history.

Kentucky (6) vs Kansas State (3) Round of 32 Preview

    Line: Kentucky (-2.5) , Moneyline (-150)

K-Sate shoots the ball well both from 2 and from 3. They are top 100 in offensive rebounding and are 75% from the FT line. On thing about their offense too is they share the basketball tremendously well ranked 8th nationally in APG at 16.9. Defensively they hold opponents well under the national average from 2 and are top 15 in the country at defending the 3 while also creating turnovers at a top 50 rate.

This team does have a few weaknesses that stick out though.

    1. They turn the ball over on 20% of their offensive possessions (298th nationally)

    2. Get their shots blocked at one of the highest rates in the country

    3. Allow an offensive rebound on 29.2% of opponent shots which is outside the top 200

    4. They foul a lot as a team and send opponents to the line

  • UK/Arkansas Recap & SEC Tournament Preview
    Mar 8 2023

On today’s episode we’re going to break down the Wildcats big time win over Arkansas on Saturday and then preview the SEC tournament this weekend down in Nashville.

We’ll start with the Cats win down in Fayetteville as they beat the Razorbacks by a final score of 88-79. You could tell from tip off there was a different energy in the building and that the stakes had been raised.

Elbows were flying, technical fouls were called, someone got tossed… so basically a normal trip for Kentucky in Bud Walton Arena.

What wasn’t normal was the fact that Cason Wallace sat on the end of the bench in street clothes due to his ankle injury suffered against Vanderbilt.

The Wildcats went point guard by committee as they relied mostly on Jacob Toppin & Antonio Reeves to handle Cason’s duties.

The two of them stepped up along with Oscar Tshiebwe in order to navigate through some rough water on Saturday.

  • Kentucky Senior Night Recap & Arkansas Preview
    Mar 4 2023

Wednesday night we saw the Vanderbilt Commodores beat the Kentucky Wildcats by a final score of 68-66 which snapped the Cats 4 game win streak. Biggest storyline coming out of the 1st half was the injury to the Commodores leading scorer and 7 footer Liam Robbins. The storyline coming out of the 2nd half was Cason Wallace leaving with an ankle injury. And storyline for the game was an inability to find a way to win. With no true point guard on the court, Vanderbilt was able to pressure UK as they went with a 5 guard lineup most the second half. Definitely not the way anybody saw Senior Night going and really was quite the letdown in front of a riled up crowd.

Kentucky will their shot at redemption as they travel to Fayetteville to take on the Arkansas Razorbacks Saturday afternoon. At this point it is unknown whether or not Cason Wallace will suit up in this one but either way the Wildcats will have no excuses in this one. They need to show up and play well, no more time to have bad games at this point in the season. A lot is on the line as seeding in both the SEC and NCAA tournament are on the line.

  • Auburn Recap, Vanderbilt Preview + AOK CBB Picks
    Feb 28 2023

Welcome in to the All Out Kentucky Podcast. Your home for the Kentucky Wildcats Basketball and Football Program. I am your host AJ Bradley and I am joined as always by my brother and co host Sam Bradley.

Todays episode we break down the victory over Auburn, take a look ahead at the next matchup with Vanderbilt and finish the show with our AOK CBB Picks for the week.

Saturday we saw Kentucky win their most dominant game of the year as they defeated the Auburn Tigers by a final score of 86-54. That moves the Wildcats to 20-9 overall & 11-5 in conference and marks their fourth win in a row.

Auburn was no match in this one as they hung around for all of about 15 minutes. Early on they were able to get the ball into Johni Broome and take advantage on the offensive glass, but that came to a screeching halt. The score was 26-25 and in the last 5 minutes of the 1st half and the entirety of the second half Kentucky outscored Auburn 60-29 and even had the opportunity to bring in the walk-ons for a few minutes to wrap up the evening.

Today we will recap the Wildcats 3rd straight victory as they defeated the Florida Gators Wednesday night, we will preview the matchup this weekend with the Auburn Tigers and discuss the outlook the rest of the season and heading into the tournament.

Let’s start though with Kentucky’s trip to Gainesville as they defeat the Gators for the 2nd time this season by a final score of 82-74. It was Kentucky who raced out to an early lead and then spent the rest of the game fighting off Florida’s runs fueled by 3 pointers and a rowdy crowd.

Get ready folks Saturday we should be in a for a good one. It’s college basketball the way it was intended to be when the Kentucky Wildcats welcome the Auburn Tigers to Lexington in a game broadcast by CBS.
