    This week is Duncan Sill!

Duncan’s outcast lens weaves uncanny stories into filmmaking to address how humanity reconciles with our chaotic, often incomprehensible, divisive world.

A NYU graduate, he has been involved in the film industry since 2007 with film program, policies, tax incentives and film studio development. Some of his film work include: Somebody Next Door (Director/Producer), Homeless Ashes (Executive Producer), Drunktown’s Finest (Executive Producer, Sundance Selection, Robert Redford, Executive Producer). Our Guest

    This week is Matt Rogers!

Matt is an Arlington, VA young husband, condo renter, youth sports coach, precinct captain, doting dog-father, Chief of Staff for a Virginia state senator, and the owner of a political consulting firm that prioritizes recruiting and assisting candidates in races far too often left unattended by Party leadership. Over the last few months, he has assisted in successfully recruiting candidates in every single Florida state legislative district for the 2020 election cycle. After completing his undergraduate degree in Political Science and minoring in Criminal Justice, & Religious Studies at VCU in Richmond, Matt’s then-fiancée, now-wife and he chose Ballston as the place to begin their family. Since that time, Matt has coached over a dozen flag football and youth basketball teams in Arlington and has become a frequent volunteer in the community, including on the Board of Arlington Independent Media and the local anti-poverty organization, Arlington Thrive — of which his wife serves as a member of the Board. In the final four days of the 2017 gubernatorial election alone, Matt knocked over 1,000 doors to help elect our Democratic Governor. Since 2017 alone, he's traveled the state recruiting candidates, knocking doors, and helping candidates raise over $275,000 to help Democrats win all three statewide offices, the State Senate & the House of Delegates.

Matt is running for this office because he's not only already an effective law-maker and team-player, but the kind of visible community leader the 47th District deserves.

     This week is Pam Keith,
Pam Keith is the Democratic Nominee for Florida’s 18th Congressional District. She won the primary election this year with 80% of the vote (a CD 18 record), while generating an increase in turnout of more than 8,000 votes over the previous turnout record (during a pandemic). In 2016, Pam became the first African American woman to run a qualified campaign for U.S. Senate in Florida history, garnering almost 174,000 votes (more than 15% of the vote) on a shoestring budget of $175,000. In that race -- her first foray into politics -- Pam won fans all over Florida for her innovative ideas and inspirational public speaking style. Pam then ran for FL 18 in the 2018 cycle, and again electrified audiences all over the district. She built a loyal cadre of activist volunteers who continue to support her to this day.  In 2018, she received 40% of the vote, while being substantially out-spent and unable to run television ads. She entered this year’s race for FL 18 in April, outraised her opponent in every reporting period, pulled together a strong campaign team, leveraged her human assets from 2018 and won the primary in a landslide.

Pam is the daughter of a U.S. Diplomat and former U.S. Ambassador. She was born in Turkey and lived in Morocco, Syria, Brazil and several U.S. cities before going to high school in Oakland, CA and attending U.C. Davis for her BA and MA degrees.  She then attended Boston College Law School where she was Moot Court champion and made Law Review.  She commissioned into the U.S. Navy as a JAG Officer in 1995 and served for four years, including a tour as Officer in Charge of the Legal Services Office in Bahrain. Ms. Keith later served as the first JAG assigned to the Navy Task Force on Computer Network Security. She speaks French, Spanish and Portuguese.

Pam has more than twenty years of legal experience, having worked at the prestigious law firms Morgan, Lewis & Bockius, Jones Day, and Ogletree Deakins.
