  • Meet Cinnamon My Puppy [11 Dec 2024]
    Dec 11 2024

This is A Little Slice of Joy for you on this day, Wednesday December 11, 2024.

Today I share with you the bond I have formed with our dog Cinnamon. Cinnamon is a miniature poodle, is about 13 pounds at full-grown size, and has brought Sana and me a great deal of joy.

I share with you my experience meeting Cinnamon, as well as how our bond has grown and flourished over the years.

Also shared is a short teaching on the necessity of focusing on positive things vs. our default state of dwelling on the negative. Inspired by a passage of Scripture.

"Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy - meditate on these things."

-St. Paul's letter to the Philippians 4:8
