A Fistful of Flattened Rice - The Story of Krishna and Sudama's Friendship

  • Summary

  • In this episode of Storytelling with Shweta, we hear the story of Sudama, also known as Kuchela. Sudama is not a God or King. He did not fight demons or have an epic love story. He was an ordinary man who was generous of spirit. He was a childhood friend of Lord Krishna and this is the story of them meeting years after life had taken them in different directions.

This family-friendly story is best for all who enjoy stories from the Mahabharata, the Ramayana, Indian mythology and South Asian Folk tales.
