Felicity also highlighted the challenges of dispatching in a rapidly growing area with increasing call volumes and staffing shortages. She described the intense two-week academy training, ongoing certification, and the importance of on-the-job training to keep up with the demands of handling multiple agencies.

She offered advice for aspiring dispatchers on the importance of mental preparedness and the demanding but rewarding nature of the role. The episode wrapped with a discussion on staffing shortages and retention issues in dispatch, with Kacey and Vada sharing their thoughts on burnout and the industry's need for robust support.
