  • Canadian Kyle is joined with Alan Pangbourne. He is the President and CEO of Chesapeake Gold Corp (TSXV:CKG, OTCQX:CHPGF). Their Metates deposit is large but it is a low grade refractory gold deposit which poses some issues given how the gold mining industry currently extracts sulfides. But this technology has been successful in the copper industry and he believes it can work in the gold industry. People had doubts in the past with new technology and it is difficult to be an early adopter. Alan states he owns 11% of the company and has his neck out on the line and I respect that. 
    He has a colourful career and takes some time explaining it. We then get into the project and some common objections of the technology. I wish we had more time to get further in the details but it was still an interesting conversation and hope you enjoy!
