(school and train crossing ponderings included in dialogue) ◑ Thinkin': X-RAY VISION (a.k.a discernment) -Discernment is to see whether a thing is genuine or not. -We can ask God for supernatural discernment! -We need to be determined to discern all the "almost truths" going around! -A.I. is getting to be a big thing...We have to now ask "is that a revelation from A.I., or from the Lord?" -When we ask to have more supernatural vision- we need to be ready for God to give it to us! There may be a bigger "burden" to bare with greater insight! -Phil 1:9-11, Job 34:4, Psalm 19:12, Luke 8:17 -Paul knew the danger of an undiscerning love! -What is hidden will be revealed! -Discerning our faults keeps us humble & helps us discern our future steps. -We also gain x-ray vision from discerning things in our past. ◑ Discussion: MULTIPLICATION 3 Aspects of Multiplication 1) The multiplication of stuff (2Cor 9:6-11) -Trust the gardener, even if the multiplication isn't visible. Remember seasons are necessary. -It's God who supplies the seeds! Pressures off- we just have to steward them. -The law of sowing and reaping -God can multiply anything! We have to be expectant with faith. -This isn't just a principle with money, but with time, energy, ect. 2) Multiplication of grace and peace (1Peter 1:2) -Multiplied can also be translated as abundance -Grace and peace is available to us by asking and calling out for it! -Grace also is translated into "power"- this is not just for salvation 3) Multiplication of Disciples! -If you led a thousand people to Christ every year for 36 years (taking each one through basic follow up), how many people would you have reached with the gospel? Answer: 36,000. However, if you led three people to Christ, discipled them, and trained each one to reach three other people, and everyone that was discipled in turn reached three other people each year, then when we multiply the process out over 36 years the number of disciples becomes 1,048,576. That’s exponential growth. That’s spiritual multiplication.
