This episode of 2Days Denarius provides an update on the current status of Steve Lawson, who was removed from various ministry posts in September 2024 due to a moral failure. Protestia media posted a story with significant detail in regard to seeming positive movement for potential repentance and recovery in the church he currently attends. It is apparent that there is room for optimism that Steve Lawson has submitted himself to counseling and the ministry of faithful men in this church. Continue to pray for Steve Lawson and his family for ultimate restoration and healing for him and his family. The church at large should be praying toward this end.

Presidential inauguration in the United States is a time for hope, change, and new optimism for the future. On January 20, 2025, Donald J. Trump begins a second term as president. For Christians, it's important that we pray for our leaders and our nation. This episode of 2Days Denarius invites Christians and all who desire to listen to and pray to participate in this podcast. There will be two prayers presented on this episode. One is a Prayer for America by famous evangelical pastor, Dr. David Jeremiah. The second will be provided by Rev. Ron Thomas, which focuses on prayer for the new president and his administration, our branches of government, our nation and its communities, and for the church. Prayer changes things! It is my hope that believers and churches across the nation will form a concert of prayer for all these as well as we seek revival in our nation.

There are a good number of spiritual disciplines that lead to our growth and walk with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Among the most practical and needful in our lives is Bible reading, along with memorization/meditation of Scripture, and studying God's Word. It's true that many who desire to read Scripture regularly find the Bible overwhelming and difficult to read, so they give up on something very needful in their walk of faith. This episode of 2Days Denarius sets a foundation and plan for those who desire to dedicate themselves to reading through the Bible in 2025 and beyond. It provides the important biblical foundation for doing so, which Bibles are most useful to aid the reader, various annual Bible reading plans that can support the reader in accomplishing the task of Scripture reading, and practical advice that can help readers avoid pitfalls, overcome them, and remain faithful to get through their Bible reading plan in 2025!
