    In this episode, we explore the origins of the first Space Marine Legions, birthed during the Emperor's Great Crusade to unite humanity under one banner. These mighty legions, each led by a primarch, were the Emperor’s most trusted warriors, created to bring the light of the Imperium to every corner of the galaxy. As the Crusade advanced, the legions grew in power, but with the outbreak of the Horus Heresy, the Great Betrayal shattered their unity. The aftermath saw the fragmentation of the legions, and in the wake of the Heresy, they were reorganized into the Space Marine Chapters. This shift marked the beginning of a new era in the Imperium, one defined by the stoic and grim heroism of these smaller, more autonomous units, carrying the legacy of the legions in their blood.
