Wendy Hauffen is an NRA Instructor, "The Well-Armed Woman" Instructor, Black Cat Firearms Instructor, and CEO of San Diego County Gun Owners Association. She has a background in finance and worked as a paralegal for ten years, and holds an MBA in Business Administration.

Wendy's love for self-protection and firearms unfortunately started after a psychologically-abusive relationship, which often led to her feeling unsafe. After going to the range and practicing shooting in controlled ranges, Wendy realized a lot of her friends, especially women, were interested in the idea, but didn't know how or where to start.

In this podcast, Wendy talks about how she not only became familiar with firearms, but how she climbed the ladder at SDCGO, ultimately leading to her filling the position of CEO, while also empowering women to protect themselves.
