    Hello listeners! Welcome to the Historical Motion Picture Organisation, a podcast in which I imagine ancient history in the manner of fictional, HBO style productions.

    This is the seventh of an eight part series about the life of King Mithridates VI, ruler of the Kingdom of Pontus, and the decades long struggle he lead against the Roman Republic.

    Mithridates' power is beginning to crumble under relentless pressure by the Romans and his armies are beginning to wilt. But his enemies are divided too. Perhaps our hero, with the help of a powerful ally, might just rally his armies one last time to save the cause of Eastern freedom.
