About this listen
At the end of the world, the zombies are sometimes not the scariest monsters. The evil that now hides among the sheep seeking to devour its very heart.
Pastor Mike Brown and his wife, Lauren, are loved by the congregation of the church that rose from the ashes of the zombie apocalypse so much so the pair have convinced their followers that something they once thought of as demonic and forbidden is now acceptable if not ordained: cannibalism. But a darker secret, now discovered, could destroy everything. As Guntersville Island’s fledgling government has attempted to solve the mystery of a growing number of missing children, it has been implicated in the very inhuman crimes it has sought to solve by none other than the messianic leader. Forced to go to war with the very people it has sought to protect. Is the Nash worth saving? Will Mortimer make it out before the turf war turns the city into scorched earth?
Meanwhile, on the Viva Ancora, Mo, Smokes, and the remainder of the main protagonists are faced with the possible loss of an important member of its crew. Of course, a given: Mo’s constant complaining never ceases. Will evil win the battle for control of paradise? Who can stop the sadistic actions of a crowd driven by faith and hunger? Where have all the heroes gone? It’s the end of the world as we know it. Join us, friend. In places where the zombies bite....fish bite....life always bites....and some people bite and eat you!

OMG
The screen-writer wields a mighty pen and cuts savage swathes through good and bad guys alike slashing life expectancy in an instant. Javan Bonds has managed to create the aspects of a zombie Apocalypse which will leave you cringing, crying, wincing, laughing gagging and gasping, whilst trying to clutch any private parts and dignity remaining, quite unsuccessfully dear listener, so buckle up and enjoy the ride

Mind blown!
Could not wait to read the next installment in Javan Bond's Still Alive series.
My god it did not disappoint.
Twists, turns and drama in this zompoc series fill every page.
Every death described in such exquisite gory detail the likes of which I've rarely seen in a book haha.
The characters have grown so much throughout the series that you get to know them so well, some you love, others you hate with a passion !
This is down to Javan's skill as an author, to be able to completely immerse the reader into the apocalypse and all its filthy, gory horror filled mayhem.
I could not stop listening only stopping to read it in kindle when I wasn't lol
SW Salzman has throughout the series amazed me with the voices and depth he adds to the characters
I litterally couldn't imagine anyone else reading this series to me
This whole series makes the likes of the walking dead seem like a kiddies bedtime story !
You will not be disappointed
Cannot wait for the next installment

Thrills, kills and spills.
The ninth installment of Javan Bonds Still Alive series has yet again had me enthralled from start to finish. Javan has a way of describing each and every kill with as much gory and graphic information that any zompoc lover would love. S W Salzman narrates wonderfully helping the whole Audible listener experience that much better!
