Listening really brought the scenes to life.
having read the printed book, I thought that the audible version was a great companion. It really brought the scenes and drama within the narrative to life. It was fun to listen to and I was able to engage with the characters and story through a different sense – that of hearing.
It was interesting to hear how certain words are pronounced and is a great way to teach children about diversity and respecting other cultures.
Its a great activity for kids to take out when walking or on long journeys. It could also be used with children who are visually impaired enabling them to access the book through the spoken word.
