3 for 1

The narrator clearly ran out of voices. But either way it was great to have all three in the series as one long listen.

This is a great set

Really liked the characters and the story lines - even though the story lines could have been heavy, they didn’t go into to much detail so you were able to read the story without feeling to emotional. Thanks for the writing and narration 💜

Great series!

I really enjoyed this series. I loved the way the books combined murder mysteries and romance. The books didn't just focus on the romance while briefly mentioning the murders in each book. The books gave each aspect equal weight. I could easily see the characters in future books, each book covering their personal and professional lives with a new murder to solve. The narrator was very good. He had a distinct voice and accent for each character. I usually could tell which character was speaking.

Good story with bit of who fun it

But easy to listen to whilst working so something that can be picked up and put down.
Narration is good although sometimes not all the characters had the correct voices so I had to rewind occasionally to get the jist of who was speaking.

outstanding

These books were fantastic. All three were brilliant listens, from characters development to the storyline running throughout the trilogy.

Awesome suspense romance

What a great bundle of books. It's procedural, it's suspense, it's romance and it will make you laugh. I kept thinking I knew what was about to happen but I was wrong. So gooood.

narration is appalling

The story is a nice romance with some crime in the background. Nice secondary characters. Horrible narrator. Just reading out flat, and mixing up voices, as far as he bothered with voices.

Facile story, frustrating plot

Got this because it was a three book set for one credit and I've listened to Tristan James narrate many other books so I know I like his style. Despite him trying his best this was awful.
The characters are one dimensional, the plot is simply childish, around every corner is a supermodel or handsome barista. I gave up when the second murder case was solved in two chapters.
If you want M/M romance with good complex character development and some really good crime sleuthing I recommend Gregory Ashe's books, also read by Tristan James.
