About this listen
Trinity Morris, cofounder of You're Not Alone, has a domestic violence past that still haunts her 10 years later. She is devoted to helping victims find freedom and to sharing information on how to help them through their emotional and violent trials.
While Trinity is presenting at a seminar, she comes across Gavin, a police officer who knows her past all too well. It's been 10 years since he last saw her, but the moment Gavin's eyes land on her, he's intent on getting to know the woman who has haunted his dreams all these years.
Can Gavin break through the wall that Trinity has built around herself, or will the present and the past collide and take her away from him again?

Brilliant
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Yes. This was a brilliant book. Any fans of romance should enjoy this book.
Who was your favorite character and why?
The book is full of great, strong characters. I really liked Gavin as he was understanding and non judgemental of women in abusive situations.
What does Maria Marquis bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you had only read the book?
I loved how she performed the male and female characters so realistically.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
I couldn't put this book down and spent as much time as I could listening in a few sittings.
the story was fast paced and suspenseful. I enjoyed Gavin and Trinity's story arc. Their shared history made their friendship and burgeoning romance that more interesting.

Victims of domestic violence do not have to suffer alone
I had already read this book, which is a fantastic read, as Stacy Eaton is a retired cop and so brings realism into her harrowing storyline. And although I have listened to a few audio books, they have all previously been male narrators. I wasn't sure if I would enjoy listening to a female...how wrong I was. Maria Marquis does a fantastic job, and kept my attention all the way through. Her intonation and pitch is spot on, and she had me chuckling a few times, especially when narrating a child's words. I will definitely listen to more books narrated by Ms Marquis. Great job!

Can a man get any better?
If your thinking about NOT reading this story, then let me say you're a fool. Aside from the fact that you need to read or listen to it to find out what a bologna pony is, the story is fabulous and really takes the issue of domestic violence to the heart. It's a problem in this world that needs addressing by people who look the other way. If only people would have the courage to stand up and defend the victims. I've witnessed domestic against people close to me, and it turns my stomach to think about the different levels of domestic abuse that people don't even think about. Verbal attacks are a different kind of abuse, but they are real just the same. The author's expertise in the subject clearly comes through in her storytelling. As a retired law enforcement officer, I'm sure she saw her share of victims. Although the story is fictional, the situation in which our protagonist finds herself is very real. The overall performance of the narrator is very good, but there was some background noise and mouth clicks that I found distracting. I was given a free review copy of this book. Thank you Stacy Eaton.

Wow, wow, wow!
This is a wonderful story that deals with a very serious subject. It isn't for everyone due to the nature of the material but it is an engaging read/listen that will keep you turning the pages. The narrator was good and was able to give a voice to each character. There is a good blend of drama, romance, and other elements in the story. I would highly recommend this book to romance readers everywhere (as long as the subject matter isn't a trigger for them). This author is quickly becoming one of my favorites. I will be looking for other books by her.

amazing story
A powerful love and life story. Domestic violence of any kind is a tough subjet to approach, but Stacy does it with ease and shiw hiw it works and how to help the people suffering from it. Gavin and Trinity's story feels very real, compelling and moving. The audiobook, with Maria Marquis's wonderful voice, touch your heart.
