I liked it
Overall very good. I enjoyed the plot, though I found the evolution of some relationships a little unrealistic. I’ll look out for more by this author for sure.

Everything A Contemporary Romance Novel Should Be
This was my first Akwaeke Emezi novel and it has acted, as the perfect introduction to this Author's work.
Contemporary, pacey and accurately observed in all aspects. Not to mention incredibly sexy in the best possible way. This is everything a contemporary romance should be. Although it has to be said, I found Feyi's final relationship choice questionable and problematic; to say the very least. Bahni Turpin's narration style was also a perfect fit for this Audiobook. Thoroughly enjoyable, and highly recommended!

Complex relationships
Lust, life, death, grief and relationships…complicated and will captured in this story. Your emotions go up and down, and it’s difficult to predict what’s next. Life can be deep and complex…listen.

crazy, sexy, cool
narrator was phenomal as always, i love her work always makes me feel at home, she breathes extra life into the text. She did the sultry bits justice too. story good too i really enjoyed it.

A Must Read
I was introduced to this book and did not regret it. it provoked much discussion about morals, sexuality, expectations...It kept you reading throughout and the narration was good too. This is a sticky, spicy story. If you like messy relationships you will love this. Not your typical rom com.

So much potential!!
I loved this book mostly but hated the ending. I wanted more. It ended too soon. I was quite repetitive but I couldn’t believe when it ended.
