About this listen
The SYSO System is a one-stop self-improvement system that can be applied wherever you are on your journey. You can change your life by following seven simple steps, and the book's 70 practical exercises help you do the changing, rather than just hear about it.
You'll learn how to expand your awareness, manage your mind, take charge of your emotions, meet your needs in healthy ways, have a crystal-clear philosophy for the purpose of your life, understand that everything is interconnected, and learn how to make your life more enjoyable by enhancing the lives of others. You'll light up and lighten up, leading more from your heart than your ego, being focused on feeling fulfilled by being useful. By following the steps, you will change the filter through which you experience life, and by changing the filter, everything will look different.

Surface level fluff
Disappointed by this. Contains a lot of ‘exercises’ but a lot of them are what I would describe as fluff. There’s some useful stuff, but quite a lot of filler and then it gets into techniques like angel/crystal healing and vibrations. Whether you believe in that sort of thing or not I don’t think this book is going to help people with real issues in the long term.

Not quite what I expected
This book started well with some empowering exercises and helped with controlling emotions etc but the second half was really weird. I felt it went off on several tangents about nature, the universe and history in far too much detail and repeating the same thing over and over. I understand everything is connected but this just got boring and I ended up switching off with over an hour left so I don’t know, it might improve but it just bored me by that point.

Ok. Nothing special.
As per title. Just standard mindfulness stuff. Stick to real therapy if you really feel you need it.

Very enjoyable but
Would be good to have a workbook with the exercises especially for the audio version.
I really enjoyed Alan Lucas voice and style of reading. It made it very accessible for me. Thanks Alan!
