Luca
I'd lost my mind, was more animal than man. More crazed than sane. And all because I hadn't found my mate, that one female born to be mine and mine alone.
As an over-400-year-old Lycan, a supernatural being who was able to shift from human to my inner wolf, my kind was known as fearsome beasts with unimaginable power. All feared us, and rightfully so.
I had given up hope of ever finding my mate and because of that had let my inner beast reign supreme, control me. I was far more rabid than anything else.
But then it happened. I saw her, my halfling mate. Part Lycan. Part vampire. She was perfect and made just for me.
I craved her like no other, and I'd have her as mine no matter what.
For there was nothing more dangerous than a male of the Otherworld finding his mate and keeping her close.
But she had protectors, brothers and a father who saw me for the beast I was, and were ready to go to war with me...to keep her from me.
I'd been waiting my entire life for her, and they'd soon realize I'd level anything and anyone who thought to stand in the way of claiming my prize, no matter the consequences or repercussions.

Fated Mates / Paranormal Romance
You Are Mine by Jenika Snow is a paranormal romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Jason Clarke, Stella Hunter, and John Hartley. This is the second book in The Lycans series.
This is the second book of Jenika's that I have read, and it won't be my last. I enjoyed the relationship that bloomed between Luca and Ainslee. I liked that we got Luca, Ainslee, Cian, Caelan, Darragh, Lennox, and Adryan's points of view throughout the book. It really brought the story to life.
I can't wait for the next book in the series The Hunger to be released on audio so I can get Caelan and Darragh's story.
Jason, Stella, and John did a great job on the narration. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.

The Beast finds his mate!
You Are Mine, The Lycans #2 by Jenika Snow
Narration by Jason Clarke and Stella Hunter
Wowza these two narrating this series is so damn hot!
Stella Hunter was brilliant as the sexy smart part vampire, part lycan wolf Ainslee, who attends Ren and Mikalina’s nuptials and recognizes her mate at that very event. Only her family won’t allow the beast (Luca) anywhere near her. They gather her up and whisk her away to Scotland and hide her away.
But Luca has scented her and will stop at nothing to get her and make her his own. Blood is shed and he will have to fight those who are keeping him from her but they must know he is her fated mate.
I think this second book was more enjoyable than the first one and that’s saying so much because it was fabulous as well!
Jason Clarke has so many accents that he flawlessly performs so that listening to this book was very much like hearing a play. And matched with Stella Hunter and her Scottish brogue, I was in heaven!
Jenika Snow gives us a fast paced story of two fated mates working at getting together against a whole family of both Lycans and Vampires who are against them. The couple work at being together, which made my heart all sorts of squishy and when they finally do get together it’s so damn sexy and sensual. Ainslee is determined to have her mate and her sneaking away to get to Luca was so brave and adventurous. And his claiming of her is what every calling should look like for such an old soul who has almost gone mad looking for her after centuries of not finding her. Swoon***** they so deserved their HEA!
I also liked the peek into the next story of the series with Ainslee’s brother.

Original and Interesting
This is the second book in The Lycans series, a steamy Fated Mates Paranormal Romance. This is a series of interconnected stories. Luca and Ainslee's romance is original and interesting. The story is told from multiple POV's, which is great! Jason Clarke, Stella Hunter, and John Hartley did an excellent job with the narration. Looking forward for more in the series.
