Summary
Operative: Cody Livingston (Shark-Shifter)
Wereshark and former Immortal Op Cody Livingston has spent decades keeping his head down and staying off the grid. Ever since he volunteered to be part of a test group when the government attempted to create super soldiers, he’s been in a fight for his life and those of the men he sees as brothers - fellow Outcasts. You see, his own government turned against him when the DNA manipulation attempts didn’t go as planned.
Now, Cody spends his days trying to right the wrongs left in the wake of the experiments and protecting any innocents caught in the crossfire. This is easier said than done when he’s had to escape the clutches of a madman hell-bent on possessing Cody’s healing gifts and longevity. As old foes resurface, the stakes get even higher when Cody realizes he not only has a mate - she’s in the crosshairs of the enemy as well.

Humour, Action and Romance
I really enjoyed this book. There was just enough recap, plenty of action and humour. I loved the interactions between Cody and Wheeler - just like two brothers constantly teasing each other. And Cody’s “Little Shark” was so funny! Of course Bill and Gus stole the show and it was lovely to see Cody get his girl. The narration was spot on and I’m looking forward to listening to Wheeler’s story next!

Love this series
I love getting snippets of the other characters lives in each new couples book. Bill and Gus are a hoot. Love the humor that goes along with the action in these books. I think this is my favorite so far.

Bill is Going to Get You With Laughter!
If you're a fan of the PSI Ops then this is a must read! I personally love some of the more 'exotic' shifters (shall we say). This story got me laughing out loud (in public), so fair warning!
Cody Livingston has had a hell of a ride, but he's jovial nature creates such a light-hearted atmosphere even when the story-line is pretty heavy (no spoilers). I love this particularly about Mandy's work, she has a brilliant way of weaving a story that creates a sense of upliftment even when times are tough. It's also one of the reasons why I enjoy this series! You will laugh, you will feel all sorts of emotions and you will love the HEA!
Also, if you are following the series in order, then this is a must because both Wheeler, Landros (tiny bit) and Clara feature in this book. You will get a feel of them too.
Finally, Bill and Gus, I just can't with them (if you know you know)!

Enjoyable
Cody a wereshark keeps his head down whilst trying to right the wrongs done in the wake of those experiments. Plenty of action and humour, I just loved this story. Pure escapism.
