You will learn:
- How WW2 came about despite the First World War being called “The War to End All Wars” 20 years previously
- The leaders of the Axis Powers - Adolf Hitler of Germany, Benito Mussolini of Italy, Emperor Hirohito of Japan
- The leaders of the Allied Powers - From Neville Chamberlain to Winston Churchill of the United Kingdom on to Franklin D. Roosevelt and Harry Truman of the United States and Joseph Stalin of the Soviet Union
- The Battles of WW2 - From Blitzkrieg to Berlin; from Dunkirk to Pearl Harbor; from D-Day to the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki
- Operations in order of action with statistics
- The War Machines of WW2 - From the mighty planes like the Spitfire and monstrous B-29 Superfortress “Enola Gay” to Panzer tanks, U-Boats, and more
To really understand the concept of war on a global scale, the World War 2 years of 1939 to 1945 provide perhaps the first complete overview of man’s inhumanity to man, alongside the bravery and heroism that show the very worst and the very best facets of human nature.

Take a breath Mr Narrator.
A excellent Book ruined by the narrator, who seems to wish to speed read through the book, with out pausing, Difficult to listen too, as you are wanting him to take a pause to take a breath......
In the end I returned the book.... as I ould not bare it any more.
