About this listen
Aticus, a diseased lycanthrope, returns to Louisiana where, 170 years ago, a conflict with a plantation owner made him lose his eye and his soul mate. He is back with a vengeance. His twisted vision of dominance has him infecting the small town of Royal Bay and surrounding parishes, amassing an army of werewolves to get revenge on humankind. A group of survivors including another lycanthrope, a reporter, police officers, and a werewolf hunter all must survive the night the moon travels closest to Earth, where, with Aticus' help, the first great werewolf returns to flesh and infects the world.

Grrrrreat
This is my best listen of 2015, the only grievance is the narrator, I think there was a bit of nepotism going on as she shares the author's surname. She just didn't have the right pitch and inflection needed, which was a shame, but you could ignore it.
Atticus is an ancient werewolf, constantly suffering pain having been shot in the head with silver so he can never fully transform where the coins hit. He is now blinded in one eye and has facial disfigurements requiring a mask. Not only was he injured, but he lost his true love, so he's out for major revenge, cultivating a "walking dead" scenario of world domination by his kind.

I cant rate this any star ⭐️ as the story I believe is very good however the narration is dreadful, computer sounding voice 🤮
