About this listen

A dark god rises, intent on world domination. With a disease spreading across the realm, altering the land and every living thing it touches, will there be anything left to rule?

The dark elf, Xavan, has captured numerous great cities, forcing the citizens to worship him. Their prayers cause his might to swell far beyond that of a wizard lord.

The death of another god has caused the realm to become infected. This taint alters everything it touches, including the monsters who live in the land where it originated, causing them to increase in size, and ferocity.

This horde storms across the wizardoms, destroying everything in its path.

Can a ragtag team of heroes defeat Xavan, before he reaches full godhood? Even if successful, can anything stop the monsters, and the spreading desolation? Or is this the end?

Listen to A Sundered Realm, the stunning conclusion to the Fall of Wizardoms saga, to find out.

Overall Awesomely Epic Series

What a fantastic conclusion to an amazing series by Jeffrey L.Kohanek, after eleven books and a few short stories my adventures in the Wizardoms has come to an end and what ending it was. Anyone who loves epic fantasy, this is for you, it has it all. Lots of battles, magic, Wizardlords, elves, dwarves and your favourite baddies, drow, trolls, goblins and orcs. Jeff's worldbuilding and characters are brilliant with loads of good humorous scenes that will have you stitches. I absolutely loved the Issalia series reference at the end, it's just shows how vast the authors world really is after reading all his series and how they are all connected. In this last book hells monsters and a wannabe god drow have come to bring and end to the wizardoms, bringing death and destruction everywhere they have touched, can our heroes, elves, dwarves and a very big dragon make a last stand and stop their world from ending. Check it out, you won't regret it. Travis Baldree the narrator has done an amazing preformence through out the whole series. I highly recommend....😁🔥💥💀

An excellent finale to a brilliant series!

A Sundered Realm is the 6th and final instalment of Kohanek's Fall of Wizardoms series, and if you thought his poor characters were neck-deep in sh*t before, then this book will certainly prove that all the events leading up to this point, were basically child's play.

So... what's the problem(s)?
Well...
- A power-hungry drow seeks godhood, and will stop at nothing to achieve it.
- "Some other" god died, sprinkling his magical blood over the lands and causing a massive crystal plague.
- The horde of said plague is right about devouring the whole world.
- The prophecies don't pan out (thanks for nothing, Kelmar crew!).
- Jace's luck is running out (how did this even happen?!).
- Aaaaand... The author kills more characters.

See where I'm going with this?
Yeah, not good!

So here they are (and by "they," I mean whoever has survived up until this point), trying to figure out a way to save what remains of the world.

Battles are fought, magic is conjured, dragons are summoned, and blood is spilt. Just like its predecessors, A Sundered Realm is a fast-paced, action-packed book, with high stakes and heartache as much as it has witty banter and sweet romance. This is an adventure that will have you at the edge of your seat from start to finish, with one epic conclusion at the end.

It's always bittersweet to leave a series, but I loved the revelations given at the end, and how the surviving crew is offered a happy ending, despite it all. A Sundered Realm is an excellent finale to a brilliant series, that I wholeheartedly recommend to any Epic Fantasy fans out there! Don't miss out on this one!

Note: I listened to the audiobook, and, as always, Travis Baldree does a fantastic job bringing the story and its characters to life. His narration is top-notch!
