Unputdownable.
So much is happening in this book, it is an unputdownable roller-coaster ride of twists and turns. The story has fantastic characters, laughter, romance, mysteries and a lot of suspense. The end makes you want to listen to the next book as soon as possible.
The narration by Emily Goss is outstanding.

The secrets and schemes continue
Loving this series as both a book to read and audio book to sit back and enjoy. This is book four in this magic series and I would highly recommend that you read them all, not just because they are good but because they follow on from each other and you learn a little bit more about the mystery with each one and they are just a magical delight. There is a murder in this book and it does get solved but it is more about explaining some of the mystery and secrets surrounding the two mysterious island. Normally I would be disappointed with that as I am a mystery fan at heart but the story is so well written and captivating that I loved it anyway and island colourful island is a mystery in its own right. The characters are wonderfully, I mean who isn't going to love a book the contains a group of cats that hold meetings to try and solve the murder for there human but it is so much more than that, over the course of the four books we have gotten to know the characters so well that they feel like family and I for one one love reading or listening about. I can't wait for the next book and the next big secret reveal, especially as the story ended just as we were going to learn something big.
When her father didn't return from his trip to the look for her mother, Hayden starts to notice that things in Destiny Falls isn't right. Could it be losing some of its magic? She. doesn't have much time to ponder why there are storm clouds in the sky or why the camping shop is just a shop before she is learns about two dead bodies that have just been discovered. Another connection to the strange island of Gladstone and the ferry, has her and the family looking into the past to find the answers. She receives some unexpected help in her quest but not everybody is who they seem to be. Can Hayden, her sassy sidekicks and the family find the answers before somebody else gets hurt?
I really like the narrator. As once again she seems to cast her own spell over the listener, to keep you hooked until the very last word. A really treat.
