Summary
Ever feel like you’re being watched?
It’s an awareness so familiar I adapted to it long ago. Then I enrolled at Westbrook University to chase my dream and make up for someone else’s lost one.
The prying eyes I’d known almost since birth... They closed.
Even still, I never got too close. I made friends with everyone but confided in no one. My dates were carefully chosen, meaning I went out with guys I didn’t really like.
And then I was attacked.
I slept in Jamie’s bed while he stayed near me on the floor. He gave me his number, told me to call. Oh, I wanted to call. But I didn’t.
Now those invisible, observant eyes that always seemed familiar have returned. But this time? They chill me to the bone.
Someone is watching. Lurking. And it’s only a matter of time until whoever is out there does more than stare.
The only place I feel truly safe is wrapped in the massive wingspan of an Elite swimmer. The very man I know I need to avoid. But as shit goes down, it becomes clear I’m going to have to surrender something....
My heart or my life.

I wanted Jamie book as soon as I read first one. I thought he was so funny. He still was after listening to this book, except he was a bit over the top with his demands.
Very alpha but I loved that she stood her ground. I loved the way the story went and I liked that their wwS mystery and not just a love story.

You had me at Bro.
Absolutely loved this.
I could not help but fall for Jamie. In Wet Jamie provided the comic relief and we some hints to his future romance with Madison.
The narrator just takes the dialogue and runs with it. It elevates what is already a great story. You feel like Jamie is having a conversation with you, sharing his secrets and thoughts.
The humor kept me giggling and the romance kept my heart racing. Features a heroine in danger and a man ready to stand by her side against everything.

Westbrook Elite Book 2
We met Jamie & Maddison in Wet , I loved Jamie from the start his witty banter had me giggling. That first kiss Jamie knew no other girl would ever satisfy him ever again but Maddison has built that many walls up he’s not sure he’ll break them down . When secrets start to unfold and Maddison’s life is in danger can Jamie be the one to save her .

Great listen!
I am loving Cambria Hebert's books, but I can’t seem to get enough. I’ve managed to devour a few in the last few weeks!
Wingspan is the second book in the Westbrook Elite series and it’s a romantic suspense college sports romance.
It’s Jamie and Madison’s story and I absolutely loved it! I loved watching their beautiful relationship blossom and watching them fall in love. One of the main reasons I love Cambria’s writing is because it’s so easy to get lost and fall in love with the characters within the story.
Devon and Cecily did an excellent job with the narration. They brought the story to life and made it that much more special.
Overall, this book was an entertaining, sexy, suspenseful read that grabbed hold of my heart from the beginning to the end.

Sweet and Spicy!
Jamie was such a dudebro and I loved it, he was silly and fun and it was everything Maddy needed.
I loved the contrast between these two. She had so much darkness following her and he was so light and fun it was everything.
I loved that he was sunshine and she was darkness, it was the opposite of most stories and I was all for it.
The drama was so unexpected and the twist really threw me for a loop. I did not expect any of it.
Cecily Foster and Devon Ryder were perfection! They gave these characters life and I loved it!

Jamie and Maddy!
Jamie is a loyal friend and good man who at first glance you might think that he doesn’t take anything seriously but that couldn’t be further from the truth. Despite the way that he and Maddy met from their first meeting he was enchanted but it will take all his charm and patience to convince her to let him into her life and her heart.
Maddy has a devastating past that not only doesn’t she want people to know but it has made her cautious about letting people close. She believes that it would only be a matter of time before Jamie walked away however he becomes the one person she can count on as he is always there when she needs someone the most.
Due to the suspense part of the story Maddy wants to be independent but that becomes more difficult, and Jamie is determined to protect her and keep her safe until the truth is revealed. The banter between them is humorous and it was great to spend some more time with the other characters we know and love. The performance of the narrators brought life to the characters and made you feel like you were right there with them. 🎧 Pink Flamingo Productions

Loving this series!
This series pushes all the right buttons for me! A college romance, a broken main character, a fantastic chemistry and just enough suspense to keep me guessing! This is the second book in the series, and we met Jamie and Madison in our first story. Madison is an actress who holds a lot of secrets. After an altercation with a deranged date, Jamie has taken her in and claimed her. Does she know it? Well, it's not a secret, but she really has no interest in a relationship with the Elite swimmer. Persistence is key though and the two find their stride. But danger lurks, and Jamie is doing his best to keep her safe. Will it be enough? Cambria Hebert had me on edge for a lot of this book. Who is after Mads? Why is she wanted? What secrets is she keeping? I couldn't wait to find out all the information! Jamie is that warm, attentive, strong boyfriend and he has a way of making her feel safe. Madison is a bit on edge but he feelings have tipped over for Jamie! How does it all play out? Grab it now to find out!
Devon Ryder and Cecily Foster are our storytellers, and what a story they tell! Ryder comes in with a strong, alpha feel giving that over protective warmth that Madison needs. Foster has a lot of emotional turmoil to work through, and each feeling is strong and evident. I loved the way these two worked together to give a performance that is riveting and emotional. It is fantastic!

Brooooooo....
Aw, Jamie bro! I just love this series. You can read as standalones, but as usual, you get more of a story by reading the series. I liked Jamie in the first book, but i luuuuurve Jamie in this book! Still the sweetest, most romantic series with some seriously dark subject matters, but, bro.... Jamie and Mads... I love their story and the audio book is just great. Perfect narrators for this book and I like that it's not the same as for Ryan & Rory.

My Thoughts on Wingspan
This was my second book by this author, and I loved it just as much as the first. Set in the same world and taking place after the events of the first book, Wet, Wingspan features Jamie and Madison as the main characters. I’ve got to say I absolutely loved both of them. But I especially loved Jamie. He was this protective goofball who loved to eat almost as much as he loved his girl. And I found him impossible to not instantly love. Madison on the other hand had a lot of walls up in the beginning but once she started letting people in, she was funny and sassy and I really liked her too. The plot and flow of the story was excellent with unexpected twists and shocking moments. And of course, best of all for me was the romance between Jamie and Madison that developed and strengthened as the story progressed. By the end I loved how they not only were crazy about each other but supportive of one another and their dreams and goals or even just the desire to figure things out. The only thing that could have made this story better was two excellent narrators, which is exactly what it had. Both performers felt well suited for their characters and I wouldn’t mind hearing either of them again in future books. After this one, I can’t wait to get more of this series and author.
