About this listen
Abel Jin and Delilah Johnson have lived their lives with holes in their souls, yearning for something they don't understand. Until one night Delilah is in mortal danger, and a man who's otherworldly strong and supernaturally fast saves her. Delilah is then cast into a world where fiction comes to life in the form of Abel, her destined mate, a vampire/werewolf hybrid who claims her at first breath as his. But Abel knows the danger isn't done. He's dreamed for centuries that his mate will perish, and he will stop at nothing to keep her safe.
For Delilah, she's coping not only with a fantasy come to life but also with a mingling of very different families. Not to mention she has on her hands a man who doesn't understand his true nature and has lived his long life thinking he's a monster. Abel and Delilah together fill the hole that has been clawing at them for decades. But, finally finding each other, it also tips their destinies as the last of The Three. They must unite with the other destined lovers, who, with Abel and Delilah, are fated to save the world. Or die trying.

I couldn't put it down
I loved this audio book! I've listened to all three and I really enjoyed the first, enjoyed the second and loved this one, the third in the series. It was action packed and all the characters were fully involved. I enjoyed getting to know Uri (?) too.

A great intro to paranormal romance
Written in Kristen Ashley’s unmistakable style, this is a well written romance. I was unsure of the paranormal aspect as I’ve been on the fence about that genre of romance, so I chose to try it out with an author I already knew and loved. I’m still not sure I’m a paranormal fan but this is still a fabulous story and I’d recommend highly

Great Series
My only gripe would be that it could have been longer. I would like to have known more of Kane and his story/Fam and more of Yuri and the witches history possibly a story for another time.

Loved it!
The story was great. My only complaint is that we didn't get to see more of Caine and his mate or follow other characters to their romantic conclusion. I will forgive, however, soley on the basis of Yuri's story alone! Well read with the right amount of growley tones, sass and accents. One of my favourite reads. well done!

Totally spoiled by narrator
The conclusion to this trilogy was average at best. KA’s characters are usually really fleshed out, but you don’t get that in this book. This book feels rushed compared to conclusions in her other series. The ending feels abrupt; there was so much more potential there.
I guess I should be grateful, as at least it reduced the amount of time I had to contend with listening to this narrator. She has a very grating habit of loudly sucking in breath after each sentence. The more off putting sounds however are the narrator’s regular swallowing and saliva-clearing noises. I can’t believe these noises weren’t edited out!
I normally keep coming back to KA’s books, but I won’t be able to do so with this one. I persevered to the end to see how it finished, but there’s no way I can cope with listening to this narrator ever again.
