About this listen
When she was 18, she joined the army to finance her nursing education.
With less than six months of nursing experience, she was assigned to the 24th Evacuation Hospital in South Vietnam.
True tales of the war that are by turns horrifying and humorous, told with an eye for detail, by a woman who was in the thick of it.

Inspiring listen
...having been glad i listened, i did wish there had been a deeper, more connected account with a more patient-specific diary...not morbid curiosity but because of my own connection stateside with vietnam vets...gaining insight from the nursing point of view. Hving said that, THANK-YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE AND CARING IN SUCH A DIFFICULT TIME.

A tale not often heard
I'd never read or listened to a book by a vietnam war nurse. I enjoyed this tale from the author, at times harrowing, at times funny. Worth a listen
