A little bit of kindness

This book is a kindness to parents. It's not a 'how to' or crazily full of theory. It's about letting it all go getting back to the bare bones of love and connection. It recognises the trials we all face as parents, they way we get caught up in the day to day practical care, and also the trying times that little children can bring. It reminds us though, that we have the tools within us to set our barometer to love and connection and that, in so doing, all will be well. It's a permission to set an intention to do that. It's a gift.

Great insights into young children

I enjoyed the down to earth insights into how young children perceive what we often do. I love how much their development was brought up. The humble words and warm voice was very easy to listen to. I nodded my way through this audiobook, with the occasional head tilt as I processed ideas that I’ve never come across, which also made sense.
