Very unpleasant

I think the author ought to consult a professional psychiatrist as the scenes described are truly nasty and unpleasant. I understand writing a book to shock, but this takes it to extremes. The author seems to be trying to be as horrifying and stomach turning as possible, and succeeds. As for the narration, ok, but scenes/stories seem to run straight into each other with no break, which can get very confusing. Also the choice of a British narrator for an american story is a bit odd, and the narrator should learn american pronunciations - eg ZZ top is pronounced zeezee top, not zed zed top!
