Two sides to every story

A great story about two families and the love of their children and the depths they would go to to protect them.

Superbly compelling

This is a fantastic book, I couldn’t stop listening. It’s very well deserving of the press interest it’s getting

Another belter!

Once again hasn’t failed to deliver. There is something about her writing that is so addictive that the next book doesn’t come fast enough. Great story line and very well read

Gripping from the start

Dervla never disappoints. I loved this book, just like her others. Gripped from the start and couldn’t wait to get to the last page but also disappointed, it was over. Go read this book, you won’t be disappointed!

Powerful story. What would you do?

Powerful story & dilemma. Great narration too. Highly recommended, I’m currently looking for another book by this author.

Best book I’ve listened to this year!

I loved everything about this book apart from one thing-that cover!!!! It really doesn’t do the book any justice and may even put people off discovering this author and her brilliant writing. I nearly didn’t purchase because I “judged the book by its cover” but I’m so glad I did. A heartbreaking book with incredibly detailed characters that sucked me in immediately. Some similarities to a recent case will be noticed but didn’t distract me from the whole experience of a multiple POV that was expertly narrated.

Enjoyed it until the last fifteen minutes

Well written as always and compelling until the end which was psychologically unconvincing for me. As often with her books, I would have liked it to be a little longer.

Her best yet!

Outstanding writer. Super plot. Another one that had me rushing to get back to it. Interesting to have a cast narrating.

Excellent

Five star rated on all three counts. Couldn’t stop listening. Characters all very well drawn and the plot was flawless. You could empathize with most of the characters and place yourself in their situation even with most of the very unsympathetic ones. Surely the makings of a film or series.
