About this listen
When Alice Love surfaces from a beautiful dream to find she's been injured in a gym, she knows that something is very wrong – she hates exercise. Alice's first concern is her baby – she's pregnant with her first child, and she's desperate to see her husband, Nick, whom she knows will be worried about her. But Alice isn't pregnant. And Nick isn't worried. Alice is the mother of three children and her hostile husband is in the process of divorcing her. Alice has lost ten years of her life.
In the days that follow, small bubbles of the past rise to the surface, and Alice is forced to confront uncomfortable truths. It turns out forgetting might be the most memorable thing that's ever happened to her.

Lovely easy listen
Have read lots of Lianne Moriatry and I love this narrator - such an easy listen about ordinary everyday folk with twists.

Very unusual and brilliant story telling
Absolutely loved this. Suspect that had I been reading the book I would haven't enjoyed it as much, but once I got stuck in it was brilliant; such an unusual story and so well written and narrated. It may have helped being stuck on the M25 for about 5 hours that gave me plenty of time to get involved. Highly recommended.

Loved it!
thoroughly enjoyed this... might sound like an odd choice of word, but I felt 'satisfied' when I finished this. Everything seemed to come together. The story was intriguing and thought-provoking.. really made me evaluate how I would feel if I lost the last ten years, and what my 39 year old self would make of my 49 year old self!! The narration is perfect (as always by Caroline Lee) and the characters and their lives felt very real. One of the things I love most about Liane Moriarty is the way she really makes you connect with her characters and all their emotions. Not for the first time I have been brought to tears at times and wanted cry out 'yes! yes! I KNOW how that feels!'
Anyway, loved this... in fact this may be my favourite Liane Moriarty so far

Brilliant!
Absolutely loved this book! The story line is unique, engaging and suitably twisty. At times I genuinely had tears in my eyes or goose bumps. I can’t recommend this enough.

Alice became a friend
The narration was excellent. Brilliant but subtle charactetisation.
I felt one could identify with or felt one had known an Alice, as the character's flaws and strengths reveal themselves. The character is well crafted, but the conflicts of her sister is far from a sub plot, I feel. The character of Fran and her reflection s is an interesting but clunky device, but I enjoyed her observations.
