About this listen
Welcome to Seabury—where everyone knows everyone, the average tourist hasn't got a clue it even exists, and that's just how the locals like it! A summer listen full of friendship, fun and laughter! For fans of Holly Martin, Polly Babbington and Heidi Swain.
Kate Hardy really doesn't like change. She's lived in the gorgeous coastal town of Seabury all her life—well, apart from that three-month blip in London—but she doesn't like to think about that. Now she's back where she belongs—running her tiny seafront cafe, The Sardine, with her rescue dog Stanley at her side, and the occasional romantic visit from a certain gorgeous French fisherman. But when the local gossip-vine starts buzzing with the news that New York Froth is coming to town, it's not just the super-snazzy coffee chain that's got Kate on the hop—Mike Pendle, its rude, grumpy owner, seems hell-bent on demolishing her life—one nightmare encounter at a time. Is The Sardine safe? Will Kate manage to weather this summer storm?

Lovely story
I really enjoyed this delightful story. Set in a cute village on the Devon coast, full of lovable characters. Kate, the main character is real engaging

HALF A STORY IS CRAFTY
I love the narrator Charlie Sanderson as she always does her job well. The story was good but I find it frustrating when the author puts half a book out and then wants the listener to buy the rest of the Story in another book,
Personally I find this under handed. Less than 2 hours of a story and the narrator says you have to buy the other book to find out what the other half of a story is! DISGRACEFUL!
If this wasn't free to listen too via the Plus Catalogue included membership then I would want a refund. Don't waste a credit on half a story!
