About this listen

The sun is shining, birds are chirping, and people are dying. Life is not always perfect in the town of Cold Hollow, but with Mayor Myrna Bradbury at the helm, it might be someday. When a batch of newly paroled convicts arrives to take up residence in the town, disappearances of longtime townsfolk begin, gruesome human remains are found, and a government inspection is looming on the horizon. Time is of the essence as Myrna and the new chief of police are thrust into an investigation the likes of which they had never imagined. Welcome to Cold Hollow, the place where the fun never ends.

Weaving the Web

Any additional comments?

I received a free copy of this audio book in exchange for an honest review.

It was a good book, set five months after the end of Cold Hollow. It had a good plot, but I found the pacing difficult. It felt rather slow going until about half way when it kicked into high gear.

The narrator was great but ...........

Any additional comments?

The narration was great, but I couldn't get into the story. Sometimes if I go back to a book at a later date in a different mood I enjoy it so I will try the book again in a few weeks time.

More twists than an Olive Tree

Superb listen. One that I will read more than once. The narration was spot on. Bringing the characters and the town to life. I could feel my anger rising at the injustice and found myself willing some of the victims to find a way to freedom.

The ending I just didn't see coming. I guarantee you'll enjoy this book.
