Summary
From No. 1 bestselling author Beth Moran comes a story about family, friends and facing your fears.
Thirty-three-year-old Ruth Henderson and her daughter Maggie have some hard choices to make.
Following the tragic death of Maggie’s father, they are left with a mountain of debt and broken hearts. So, despite her vow never to return home after the fall-out from her teenage pregnancy, Ruth can’t see any option other than for the two of them to move back in with her parents.
Going home means many things – finally confronting her estranged father, navigating her mother’s desperate need to make everything ok despite the wobbles in her own marriage, not to mention helping a still-grieving Maggie to settle into a new school, find new friends, and stop expressing her emotions through her ever-changing hair colour.
What Ruth needs are friends, but she abandoned her childhood ones when she left all those years ago. Luckily for Ruth, they haven’t abandoned her. Slowly she lets herself be embraced by a group of women who have always had her back – even when she didn’t know it. And as the grief and shock recede, Ruth can even begin to imagine sharing her life with someone other than just Maggie – if Maggie will let her.
No. 1 bestselling author Beth Moran writes worlds you want to live in, characters you want as friends, and heart-warming stories it’s impossible not to fall in love with. Perfect for all fans of Jill Mansell, Julie Houston, and Jenny Colgan.

Lovely and emotional story of love and friendship.
I discovered this author on Audible after seeing her latest book in the editors picks. I liked the sound of all of them so got all of them and this is my second novel by her already.
I enjoyed her first novel however this one was even better. Ruth Henderson has moved home after her husbands death as he's left her in really bad debt and she's just quit her job after a melt down.
This is the start of a wonderful journey of growth for Ruth and her whole family. Although this book is deemed to be a romance it is much more than that. It's about rebuilding a family and friendships. As Ruth meets a group of women who have always had her back she starts to find herself and even starts to think about a potential relationship with someone else. The Journey that this group of characters goes on is amazing. The author really brings the reader into the story and you really connect with the characters. The reader was someone i'd never experienced before same ads the last book but she did a wonderful job. I'll be reading the rest of this authors stuff for sure.

How to read Novel as a Christian
Don’t worry don’t let this title out you off. I wanted to start my review before I’d finished listening. I know how can I possibly leave a review when unfinished? Easy, listening to a book when suddenly your heart grows and a lightbulb comes on that you are reading a book created by a Christian. I then googled Beth to discover to my joy that yes Beth is a Christian. Her words are totally normal no bible bashing but totally enjoyable. Do I feel Ive done my Bible study for the day nope so I think I’m listening to pure genius ? Absolutely.
Will do a part 2 when finished
